Retention Director Job Summary Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retention and Book Optimization Director to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in analyzing, managing, and optimizing an agency's book of business to enhance client retention, maximize client value, and drive long-term growth.
Compensation Package Salary :
$125,000+ annually

Develop and implement strategies to improve retention rates and client lifecycle value. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership, sales, and service teams. Identify segments of the book requiring proactive management, remarketing, or intervention. Support cross-sell and account expansion strategies through data-driven insights. Maintain accurate, clean, and actionable data within Applied EPIC and reporting systems. Build and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and tracking mechanisms for retention and performance. Partner with internal teams to align retention strategies with sales and service execution. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Agency retention rate improvement. Retention performance by line, producer, and carrier. Reduction in lost business and improved renewal outcomes. Identification and execution of retention opportunities. Generation of cross-sell and account expansion insights. Accuracy and timeliness of reporting in dashboards. Data integrity within Applied EPIC and reporting systems. Implementation and success of retention strategies.
Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H) licenses required.
Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in insurance or a related field.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in Applied EPIC software is required.
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
