Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations on a part-time basis, approximately 30 hours per week, with comprehensive benefits. The ideal candidate brings practical, hands-on accounting experience, including familiarity with accruals, prepaids, and other key month-end processes, and is equally comfortable managing routine bookkeeping and daily accounting activities. Responsibilities Manage and oversee the organization's general ledger accounting, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial data. Monthly and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Supervise accounts payable and prepare check runs, ensuring timely payments while maintaining compliance with organizational policies. Apply cash receipts and processing of all checks and ACH payments. Oversee payroll processing. Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and employee support Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting roles. Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting. Expertise in cash management, account reconciliation, double-entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting. Demonstrated ability to perform financial report writing and conduct detailed financial analysis. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently within a part-time schedule. High level of integrity with attention to detail and accuracy in all financial activities.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
