Operating across the world's most critical trade lanes, they have established an agile, technology-driven ecosystem that outpaces legacy industry giants. They have bypassed corporate bureaucracy in favor of a culture anchored in visibility, accessibility, and proactive executive partnership. To sustain this global velocity, they are seeking a Director of Total Rewards & Compensation to step into their regional corporate office in Virginia Beach, VA-with relocation assistance dynamically structured for well-qualified talent. This leader will bridge macro-level global strategies with regional operational execution, serving as a vital advisor to executive leadership on workforce capitalization, global talent attraction, and enterprise HRIS data integrity.
The Strategic Mission & Daily Ownership Architect Cross-Border Rewards Strategies:
Lead the design, execution, and continuous optimization of multi-country compensation and international benefits plans that balance corporate alignment with local market nuances.
Govern Enterprise HRIS Infrastructure:
Drive regional system governance, data integrity, and strategic reporting structures for the Oracle HCM platform, converting complex workforce data into actionable leadership analytics.
Orchestrate Financial & Labor Forecasting:
Direct the annual compensation cycles, salary planning, incentive design programs, and workforce cost strategies alongside Finance and Operations units.
Manage International Vendor Ecosystems:
Oversee complex multi-country benefits administration, ensuring regional compliance, optimal vendor performance, and high-impact employee wellness frameworks.
Cultivate Elite Human Capital:
Lead, mentor, and elevate a high-performing domestic and regional team focused on operational excellence, data precision, and continuous total rewards modernization.
Non-Negotiable Professional Benchmarks Authentic Multi-Country Experience:
Proven track record designing and executing compensation and benefit frameworks across multiple international jurisdictions and cultural contexts. Candidates with exclusively domestic US experience will not be considered.
Demonstrated Leadership Tenacity:
5 to 7+ years of progressive leadership experience specifically steering Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, or enterprise HR Operations.
Advanced Data & Analytical Acumen:
Masterful ability to translate massive datasets into strategic workforce models, cost projections, and financial insights using tools like Microsoft Excel and advanced HR platforms.
Academic Foundation:
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field.
Highly Valued Core Differentiators Deep Enterprise HRIS Expertise:
Prior hands-on governance, optimization, and advanced reporting architecture experience within an Oracle HCM environment.
Sector Familiarity:
Prior experience navigating capital-intensive, fast-moving industries such as shipping, international logistics, supply chain, transportation, or global manufacturing.
