Engagement & Opportunity Program Officer

JOB OBJECTIVE

To plan, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate approved programs, events, and activities in partnership with the Chief Engagement and Opportunity Officer that are aligned with departmental mission, goals, and objectives. This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening. For a complete list of essential job functions please click HERE. These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) in International Studies, Public Administration, Social Justice, Public Service, or related fields of study; five (5) years of demonstrated professional-level program management experience or related areas to include two (2) years of experience with the development and/or administration of civil rights, human relations, equal opportunity, or related areas. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position. Must be available to work outside of regular working hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
