ANNOUNCEMENT
Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the full-time administrative position Title IX and Programming Specialist.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, the Title IX and Programming Specialist position fosters a positive and supportive campus environment by assisting with student discipline processes and coordinating a variety of student development programs. This role serves as a liaison between students, faculty and administration to promote student success, personal development, and accountability. This position ensures that the College's Title IX policies, procedures, and practices are in compliance with Title IX and other federal, state and local laws. This role works closely with a diverse student population, faculty, and staff to ensure clear communication of behavioral expectations and to provide resources that enhance student learning outside of the classroom.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field is required. A minimum of 3 years work experience in a related field is required, Title IX experience is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required. Must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to hire.
STARTING PAY AND HOURS
Grade 3 on the Administrative Salary Scale, ranging from $52,150 to $65,200 per year.
