Recipient Rights Specialist Join the LifeWays team and help protect and advocate for the rights of individuals receiving behavioral health services. Under the direction of the Recipient Rights Officer, the Recipient Rights Specialist investigates complaints in accordance with the Michigan Mental Health Code and helps ensure consumers are treated with dignity, respect, and fairness. What Youll Do Investigate recipient rights complaints by conducting interviews, reviewing records, and gathering evidencePrepare detailed investigative and intervention reports in compliance with state regulationsProvide consultation, education, and training to provider network staff on recipient rights and applicable lawsParticipate in incident report reviews and annual site reviews across the provider networkCollaborate with internal and external partners to support resolution and compliance effortsAttend committees and meetings to support consumer protections and quality careHelp ensure compliance with CARF, MDHHS, and Mental Health Code standards
