Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Civil Rights Field Investigator specializing in Fair Housing Testing! In this vital role, you will actively assess housing practices to ensure compliance with civil rights laws, promote fair treatment, and eliminate discriminatory practices. Your work will directly contribute to fostering equitable housing opportunities for all individuals. Duties:
Conduct undercover testing by acting as a prospective tenant or landlord to identify potential housing discrimination cases Collect detailed data during testing visits, including observations, interactions, and responses from housing providers Maintain consistent and timely communication with Testing and Outreach Coordinator Qualifications Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, databases, ERP systems, and office software applications Experience with data entry, typing, transcription, and organizing large amounts of information accurately Familiarity with clerical tasks such as filing, order entry, and maintaining organized records Passion for social justice and housing justice This role is perfect for individuals passionate about civil rights advocacy who possess strong organizational abilities and technical skills.
