Duties Help Duties and Responsibilities HR Advisory:
Serves as a reliable source of informion on security reled mters, procedural and regulory requirements pertaining to HR personnel mters. Provides guidance and informional resources to supervisors and employees. Explains employee rights and responsibilities.R&P:
Receives and reviews personnel action requests and supporting documents for validity and completion. Conducts stregic recruitment discussions to advise on recruitment stregies. Advises on permanent and/or temporary placement actions. Explains hiring preferences and priority considerions in the recruitment process to management and/or applicant. Formules position qualificions for job announcement postings. Crees and releases job opportunity announcements. Generes applicant lists for the issuing of hiring certifice(s). Verifies applicant eligibilities; and makes qualificion determinions of applicants. Issues certifice of qualified applicants to selecting official for considerion. Audits returned certifice to valide selection(s) are compliant to stutory laws and policies. Extends job offers and inities pre-employment process. Completes assigned and applicable onboarding tasks/responsibilities. Coordines entrance on duty de once pre-employment requirements are favorably met. Prepares for and conducts in-processing briefing. Completes new hire record by ensuring all tasks are complete to include in-processing and all new hire documents are uploaded to the recruitment casefile. Ensures personnel documents are placed into the official personnel file.Security:
Processes, tracks, and verifies all required background investigions, including installion records checks, ste and nional agency checks. Inities investigions, ensures all required forms and electronic fingerprints are completed accurely, and submits requests to the approprie agencies.Position Management:
Maintains and loces position descriptions. Reviews and verifies organizional structures provided by management. Enters position descriptions into an automed library; and uploads supporting documents into its casefile. Completes cursory reviews of previously classified position descriptions.DCPDS/Personnel Actions:
Enters personnel da into the automed NAF personnel da system. Completes applicant and position builds. Codes personnel actions in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. Processes full range of personnel actions in accordance with applicable rules and procedures. Generes personnel informion reports. Identifies and corrects discrepancies in personnel da.Pay & Leave:
Advises management on routine pay and leave administrion actions. Explains pay systems, differentials, hours of work, etc. Sets pay in accordance with applicable laws, policy, and guidance. Computes res of pay increases (promotions, pay adjustments, step increases, etc.) in accordance with stutory and regulory requirements. Monitors and processes within-grade increases in accordance with applicable guidelines. May participe in planning and conducting the local NAF wage survey IAW regulory guidance. Tracks, briefs, and calcules Post Allowance. Tracks and coordines logistical support renewals. May assist HRO with LQA reconciliion.Clerical/Admin:
Answers inquiries concerning stus of pending actions. Maintains official employee personnel records and files. Forwards timely and accure copies of records for administrive and pay purposes to other offices as required. May be responsible for entering and upding investigions in CSO IT, creing monthly reports, processing and tracking stus of installion records checks, ste criminal history repository checks, and nional agency checks. Establishes new record series as required and disposes of records according to records management directives. May research and download forms and publicions and post updes to directives. Crees and edits user accounts in automed recruitment tool. Performs quality assurance audits utilizing BI and AFSFMS. Performs other reled duties as assigned. Performing administrive support work such as: reviewing documents for completion and accuracy; creing and maintaining files, spreadsheets, and/or checklists; preparing written correspondence and/or reports, etc. utilizing recruitment tools in hiring personnel (i.e., genering job postings, job fairs, or equivalent); advising on routine recruitment stregies; using and troubleshooting automed personnel systems and dabase applicions.
