Job Description

Southern Carrier Services is seeking a motivated, organized, and people-focused professional to join our team as an HR & Administrative Coordinator . This position provides direct support to company leadership while playing a key role in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and daily HR operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, staying organized, and gaining hands-on Human Resources experience in a growing company. What You'll Do in Human Resources Assist with recruiting and candidate communication Schedule interviews and coordinate hiring activities Process pre-employment screenings and onboarding paperwork Maintain employee personnel files and HR records Track certifications, training requirements, and compliance deadlines Assist with employee relations matters and HR projects Support payroll and timekeeping processes Participate in policy implementation and employee communications Administrative Support Support executive leadership with projects and reporting Prepare correspondence, spreadsheets, and presentations Organize and maintain company records Assist with office operations and special projects Help ensure efficient day-to-day business operations Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Personable and professional Highly organized and detail-oriented Self-motivated and proactive Trustworthy with confidential information A strong communicator who enjoys working with people Positive, energetic, and solution-oriented Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment A team player who takes ownership of their work Preferred Qualifications Administrative, HR, recruiting, office management, or related experience Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information professionally Experience with HRIS, payroll, or onboarding systems is a plus What We Value Integrity Professionalism Accountability Teamwork Initiative Compensation Competitive pay based on experience.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
