Bilingual Administrative Assistant w/HR emphasis Degan Construction, LLC Job Category Administrative/Clerical Overview Description Degan Construction is looking for a Bilingual Administrative Assistant with emphasis in HR and Payroll.
Job Summary:
The administrative assistant provides the first impression and unlimited administrative support for the company.
Job Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls, routing them to appropriate department and provide general information Greet customers/vendors/applicants/employees Receive incoming packages/deliveries Provide administrative support to support staff Assist Human Resources with applicants-testing, physicals and paperwork Assist Payroll by sending out weekly time reports-follow up on missing hours Track time off requests Enter new employees and independent contractors in Sage Assist Safety-tracking training and distributing PPE Maintains the company break room neat and stocked Assist setting up for company meetings and events Run company errands when needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma Bilingual is required, English/Spanish 2-3 years' experience in a front desk administrative capacity, HR/Payroll experience a plus Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs, especially Excel Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a calm demeanor A team player, ready and willing to take on whatever challenge is offered Must be detail oriented, analytical and able to work well with others Strong written and verbal communications skills, organizational skills and accuracy Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion
Physical Requirements:
Will interact with people frequently during a shift/workday Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/workday. May use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices on a regular basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
