This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, and HR recordkeeping. The ideal candidate is organized, bilingual in English and Spanish, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment. Essential Responsibilities Coordinate recruitment, interview scheduling, onboarding, and new hire orientation. Maintain employee records and HRIS systems while ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Assist employees and managers with HR policies, benefits, leave requests, and employee relations matters. Support benefits administration, open enrollment, workers' compensation, and performance review processes. Assist with investigations, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement initiatives. Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and EEO. Support HR reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications High school diploma required; degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred. 2+ years of HR experience in a coordinator, assistant, or generalist role. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office and
HRIS/ATS
systems. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Ability to handle confidential information professionally. Preferred Qualifications PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certification preferred. Experience with benefits administration and onboarding systems. Work Environment Office-based position requiring regular computer use, communication with employees, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Occasional overtime or weekends may be required based on business needs.
Pay:
$25.00 - $38.00 per hour
