Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Human Resources Assistant, where your enthusiasm and organizational skills will drive our HR initiatives forward! In this vital role, you will support the needs of the company by managing a variety of administrative and strategic tasks that enhance employee engagement, streamline HR processes, and foster a positive workplace culture. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth operations in talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your HR expertise while contributing to a thriving organization committed to growth and innovation. Responsibilities Assist with talent acquisition efforts by supporting recruiting activities, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant tracking system.. Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated smoothly into the company culture. (Knowledge of Connecteam is a plus) Support employee evaluation processes by gathering performance data, coordinating review schedules, and assisting with performance management initiatives. Maintain accurate HR records through data entry, file management, and ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards. Contribute to HR projects such as affirmative action planning, succession planning, and organization design to support strategic workforce development. Handle employee relations issues with professionalism by assisting in conflict management efforts and promoting positive communication across teams. Skills Strong knowledge of human capital management practices and employment & labor law regulations to ensure compliance and best practices. Experience in talent acquisition strategies including sourcing via social media, job boards, etc. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with employees at all levels and external partners. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using project management techniques while maintaining attention to detail. Competence in training & development initiatives along with knowledge of OSHA standards for workplace safety compliance. Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
