This role is responsible for managing unemployment claims, administering employee benefits, responding to HR-related inquiries, maintaining employee records, and assisting with various administrative projects. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of HR experience, preferably within the staffing industry, and possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. This position requires someone who is proactive, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict confidentiality. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Manage and respond to unemployment insurance claims, hearings, and related documentation. Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee communications. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR files. Respond to employee and management inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and employment matters. Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes. Monitor compliance with company policies and employment regulations. Support claims team Assist with leave administration as needed. Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation. Assist with employment verifications and other HR-related correspondence. Administrative Support Provide administrative support to executives and senior leadership. Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting materials. Assist with scheduling, special projects, and general office administration. Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. QualificationsRequired Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience . Experience managing unemployment claims and employee benefits administration Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite , including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team. Preferred Human Resources experience within the staffing industry . Experience working with HRIS, payroll, or applicant tracking systems. Key Traits for Success Highly detail-oriented and process-driven. Professional and dependable.
