Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists with HR auditing and processes and makes suggestions to improve department efficiency. Frequently updates and works within HRIS for the company, demonstrating precise work and confidentiality of all sensitive information. Updates payroll records by entering changes in insurance coverage, benefits deductions, income withholding orders, job title changes, department changes etc. Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Assists with answering questions from Team Members relative to payroll, standard policies and procedures, benefits, code of conduct, etc.; escalates more complex questions to appropriate members of the Human Resources Team. Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. Provides clerical support to the HR department as needed. Assists with payroll functions including creating manual checks, processing, answering employee questions and fixing processing errors. Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding for multiple departments. Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains current books. Conducts or assists with new hire orientation and relative data entry. Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications and Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact. Professionalism Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. High school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related area preferred. 2-3 years office experience preferred. If you are tasked to drive as a part of this role, then it is required that you have a clean driving record and a current Driver's License that is not suspended or expired. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. EEO-1Category:
