Summary The Recruiting and Development Coordinator assists in the implementation of programs that aim to attract, measure, develop, and manage the Firm's talent pool and is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of HR operational responsibilities in areas of recruitment and training. Responsibilities Partners with office leadership and practice group heads to write/revise job descriptions. Posts open positions internally and externally, using traditional and nontraditional resources such as job boards, social media, law school recruitment programs, and associations, to identify and attract quality candidates. Cultivates relationships with Career Services professionals, law student groups, affinity groups, and staffing agencies. Coordinates on-campus interview programs. Screens resumes and interviews candidates (by phone or in-person). Coordinates and manages the interview and selection process in virtual and physical space. Manages candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Coordinates and implements the annual Summer Associate Program. Coordinates and implements CLE training programs. Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. At least 3-5 years of previous Recruitment and/or Professional Development experience in a law firm environment with a proven understanding of, and experience with, the core aspects of Human Resource Management. AA or BS Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Human Resources is preferred. Knowledge of local and federal laws and required reporting. A high degree of accuracy and detail orientation, good judgment, excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility in changing roles and priorities, and complete confidentiality in all matters. Must be a confident communicator, including both written and verbal skills) and must be able to effectively present to all levels of the organization. Ability to thrive in a changing paced environment with shifting deadlines and priorities. Proven ability to provide excellent customer service, with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with both internal and external customers. Demonstrated ability to work independently and be flexible in changing roles or priorities quickly. Good working knowledge and competency working with integrated data systems, Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and intermediate to advanced Word and Excel is required; Document Managing System experience is a plus.
Compensation, Benefits & Perks Annual Salary Range :
$65,000 - $75,000 annually
