Job Description
Human Resources Assistant (Full-Time | M-F, 8:00 AM
- 5:00 PM)
Location:
Torrance, CA Pay Rate:
$22.00- $25.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing onboarding processes for temporary employees Maintaining accurate employee records in HRIS systems Processing background checks and new hire data entry Updating employee status changes and personnel files Supporting recruitment activities and candidate coordination Assisting with HR administrative tasks (filing, scanning, documentation) Contributing to HR special projects and process improvements What You Bring We're looking for someone who combines strong administrative skills with a passion for human resources: Associate's degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience) Bachelor's degree preferred At least 1 year of HR experience, including recruiting exposure Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) ADP Workforce Now experience is a strong plus Solid understanding of HR principles and best practices Excellent organization and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Work Environment & Physical Requirements Primarily desk-based work using a computer Occasional lifting (up to 15 lbs.)
