Job Summary Auctioneers Miller & Associates, delivering premium results for buyers and sellers through the largest live monthly consignment auctions in the region, agriculture and business liquidation auctions, and more is hiring a Finance & Human Resources Officer to join our team in Brush, CO. This is a full-time, in-person position with competitive pay and benefits. This role is ideal for someone who is accurate, trustworthy, comfortable handling confidential information, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, agriculture-rooted business environment. The successful candidate will help maintain financial integrity, support payroll and employee administration, and ensure company processes remain organized, compliant, and efficient. - August) Finance & Accounting Responsibilities Prepare, maintain, and organize financial records, reports, and statements.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Monitor cash flow and assist with budget preparation and expense tracking. Reconcile bank statements, deposits, and financial transactions. Report and remit sales tax accurately and on time. Process payroll, payroll taxes, withholdings, and related payroll reporting. Support year-end reporting, audit preparation, and coordination with outside accounting professionals as needed. Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and support financial reporting for company leadership. Human Resources Responsibilities Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation. Support employee onboarding, benefits administration, and leave management. Assist with payroll-related employee updates and employment documentation. Help maintain and implement HR policies and procedures. Support compliance with applicable labor laws, company policies, and recordkeeping requirements . Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 2-5 years of relevant experience in finance administration, bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, or a related role. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization. Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
