The Human Resources Administrator supports day-to-day HR operations including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and employee support in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is highly hands-on and requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to support both office and production teams. Position Summary The HR Administrator is responsible for supporting recruiting, payroll processing, onboarding, employee records management, and general HR administration. This role partners closely with leadership to ensure smooth workforce operations and compliance across the organization. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the HR team to coordinate and manage recruiting. Posting jobs, screening applicants, scheduling interviews and hiring of successful candidates. Running bi-weekly and off cycle payroll in Paychex for 100+ hourly and salaried employees. Management of employee files and records. Work with employees in person as questions and issues arise for them. New hire onboarding for production employees. Creation of employee files with all required documentation for seasonal and long term employees. Leading training for new hire production employees and training for health and safety programs. Coordinating training schedules and maintaining training records. Spanish/English translation and interpretation support as needed. Purchase, distribution and tracking of personal protective equipment. Office management including organizing shared spaces and supporting general office operations. QualificationsRequired 1-3 years of experience in HR administration, payroll, or recruiting coordination Bilingual English/Spanish required Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism handling employee information Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Comfortable interacting regularly with production staff Strong communication and organizational skills Google Workspace experience and/or the ability to effectively and efficiently learn new applications. Preferred Paychex experience Manufacturing or warehouse HR experience Prior office administration experience Schedule Hourly role with seasonal hours averaging approximately 20-30 hours per week depending on business needs. Hours may increase during peak recruitment periods (July-March). Weekend availability required during peak season (mid-August through February).
