Your Role at KIK The Plant Administrator reports directly to the Plant Manager and provides administrative and Human Resources support to both the Plant Manager and Human Resources Manager. This role plays a vital part in maintaining efficient plant operations through support of HR processes, employee engagement initiatives, compliance activities, onboarding, payroll administration, and general office management. Serving as a key resource for employees and leadership, the Plant Administrator helps foster a positive, organized, and productive work environment while ensuring the effective coordination of administrative and HR functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, professional, and able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM . Flexibility is required to occasionally support alternate shifts to effectively communicate with off-shift employees and leadership. Pay Rate:
$26.00 per hour, plus overtime as needed. What You'll Be Doing Provide administrative support to the Plant Manager, Human Resources Manager, and plant leadership team, including preparing reports, maintaining records, and assisting with special projects. Coordinate all onboarding activities, including orientation materials, new hire paperwork, employee setup, and new hire support. Complete Form I-9 verification, maintain I-9 documentation, and ensure compliance with federal employment requirements. Maintain employee personnel files and HR records while ensuring accuracy, organization, and confidentiality. Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, communications, and culture-building activities. Assist employees with questions regarding workplace policies, procedures, and general HR-related matters. Track training completion, attendance records, and other employee-related documentation to support compliance and workforce development. Support payroll submission processes and maintain related administrative records. Assist with HR, payroll, safety, and operational audits while supporting compliance with company policies and employment regulations. Schedule meetings, training sessions, employee events, and leadership activities while providing front office and administrative support for plant operations. What You'll Bring High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of administrative, Human Resources, or office support experience required; experience in a manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or warehouse environment strongly preferred. Knowledge of Human Resources principles, practices, employment compliance requirements, employee relations, and employee engagement initiatives. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal and customer service abilities. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and handle sensitive information professionally. Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Multilingual skills are a strong asset, with proficiency in Spanish, Creole, and/or French preferred to support a diverse workforce.
