Job Description:
POSITION GOAL
To assist in assigned human resources functions which may include recruiting, onboarding, employee records, employee assistance program, unemployment compensation, risk management, training, data management, etc.
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Human Resources Administrator III shall carry out the performance responsibilities listed below.
Recruiting and Staffing:
Lead and participate in the full-cycle recruitment process including interviewing, evaluating, and recommending applicants for employment across a wide range of school district positions. Maintain and manage up-to-date applicant files records and databases to support timely hiring decisions. Assist directors, managers, supervisors and principals to identify staffing needs and recommend qualified candidates to fill vacancies. Assist applicants and other personnel in procedures that pertain to their employment status. Assist employees, directors, managers, supervisors, principals, and other administrators with their personnel concerns by providing responsive and confidential assistance related to staffing, contract language and employee placement. Analyze hiring trend data and maintain an electronic system of aligning hiring data with recruitment programs. Implement a strong recruitment program for the school system which may include recruitment trips at colleges, universities and industry events. Serve as School Board representative with employment and training programs sponsored by federal, state, or local agencies. Travel within and outside the state and internationally as the job dictates. Assist directors, managers, supervisors and principals with learning and utilizing human resources systems and programs. Provide guidance on the effective application of collective bargaining agreement language in decisions and employment actions. Engage in continuous professional development to remain current with best practices, laws and innovations in human resources and public education. Research and review current developments, emerging trends, literature and technical sources of information related to human capital management. Support a comprehensive employee onboarding program that ensures new hires feel welcomed, informed, and connected to the district's mission and culture. Coordinate cross-functional onboarding activities including compliance documentation, orientation sessions, and technology access, to ensure a seamless experience for new employees. CC-012 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
An earned associate degree from an accredited institution. A minimum of six (6) years of experience and/or training in the field related to the title of the position. Computer skills as required for the position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
An earned bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of four (4) years of experience and/or training in the field related to the title of the position. Bilingual skills. The Human Resources Administrator I, II, and III jobs are designated as one job for the purpose of job progression when the employee has achieved an evaluation indicating that his/her job performance has met or exceeded the expectations of the job.
SIGNIFICANT
CONTACTS-frequency, contact, purpose Works with District, school-based personnel, parents and students to perform daily tasks.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently as needed to move objects.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District's approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the School Board.
