Job Description:
The Coordinator, Human Resources is a full-time exempt-status professional/managerial position. This position performs independent, responsible, and complex human resources services and activities district-wide. Duties include, but are not limited to, employment services for full-time, adjunct, and student workers, and College part-time positions; applies and interprets rules to appropriate situations within the area of responsibilities; monitors the hiring and onboarding steps by providing oversight and supervision of the recruiting staff, credential requirements, and documentation, and required in-processing of hires, promotions, transfers, and other related personnel actions; and assists the Director in accomplishing the department's mission. Reports to the Director, Human Resources.Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from an institution that holds accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and approved by the College with a bachelor's degree and three years of human resources experience. Work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the degree. Successful results of a criminal background check are required. Pursuant to College policy, it is an employment eligibility requirement for an applicant to meet the requirements of § 435.04(2), Florida Statutes, related to background investigations. Any person failing to meet the requirements of the statute will be deemed not qualified to hold employment in this position. A Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate as a condition of employment, and any person who fails to disclose any adverse information contained in the background investigation at the time of submitting the employment application will be disqualified from employment.Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer supervisory experience and/or formalized leadership training.Annual Salary Range:
