Why You'll Want This Role This is more than a contract—it's an opportunity to step into a high-impact HR function within a respected, stable organization. + Make a real difference in employees' lives during critical moments + Be the expert—own and lead leave administration processes + Work with a collaborative HR team that values your input + Expand your expertise across multi-state leave laws and compliance + Add a strong, recognizable name to your resume + Competitive compensation through Robert Half What You'll Own You'll be the go-to resource for all things leave-related—balancing compliance, communication, and compassion. + Manage end-to-end leave administration (FMLA, ADA, USERRA, disability, personal leave) + Serve as the trusted point of contact for employees and leaders navigating leave + Ensure accurate tracking and documentation within HRIS systems + Partner closely with HR and leadership to provide clear, compliant guidance + Help simplify the complex—translate policies into understandable communication + Oversee Workers' Compensation processes + Stay ahead of changing regulations and ensure best practices are followed What Makes You a Great Fit + You've handled leave administration before and understand the nuances + You're confident navigating FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and compliance requirements + You're detail-oriented but never lose sight of the human side of HR + You communicate clearly, professionally, and with empathy + You're organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple cases at once + You're tech-savvy with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Bonus Points If You Bring + Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills + HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) Why This Role Matters Behind every leave request is a real person—a new parent, someone facing a medical challenge, or an employee serving their country. Your work ensures they feel supported, informed, and valued every step of the way. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in leave administration or a comparable human resources role.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state leave regulations, including FMLA and related compliance standards.
  • Experience using Workday, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational abilities with close attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping practices.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain processes effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with employees, managers, and HR team members.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills or HR certification are considered an advantage.
