Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Safety/HR professional to champion workplace safety and compliance initiatives across our fleet. This role combines safety management with human resources responsibilities, ensuring a secure, compliant, and productive environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a safety-first culture while supporting HR functions. Your energy and dedication will drive continuous improvement for our over the road drivers. Duties Manage risk mitigation strategies by analyzing incident reports, investigating accidents, and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. Reviewing ELD device for every driver to monitor Hours of Service regulations. Maintain accurate documentation of safety training sessions, incident reports, and compliance records. Support HR functions such as onboarding new employees on safety procedures and managing workers' compensation claims. Skills Strong knowledge of DOT Rules and Regulations. Extensive understanding of Electronic Logging (ELD). Excellent communication skills for engaging with drivers to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
