Human Resources Assistant Pay Rate:
$24.64 per hour
Location:
Griffin, GA Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Opportunity:
Potential for full-time employment What's a typical day as a Human Resources Assistant? You will support daily HR operations with a strong focus on payroll processing, employee data management, recruiting coordination, and employee support while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Your responsibilities will include:
Process weekly payroll accurately, timely, and confidentially. Enter and maintain payroll-related information, including absences, promotions, reimbursements, pay adjustments, and corrections. Investigate and resolve employee payroll discrepancies and inquiries. Monitor employee attendance records and track attendance point accruals. Maintain employee records and process personnel changes within HRIS systems such as Workday. Generate, distribute, and maintain HR reports and documentation. Support full-cycle recruiting activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding coordination. Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding processes. Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related questions and requests. Support employee engagement initiatives, events, front desk activities, and general office operations. This job might be an outstanding fit if you have: High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, payroll, administrative support, or a related field. Experience using Workday, Dayforce, or similar HRIS systems preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality. Excellent organization and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Customer-service mindset with the ability to build positive employee relationships. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Bilingual skills are a plus. Interview Process Initial phone screening with the HR Manager. On-site interview and facility tour.
