Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. This role is essential in supporting the organization's human capital management initiatives, ensuring efficient HR operations, and fostering a positive workplace environment. The successful candidate will assist in implementing HR strategies, managing employee relations, and maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Support talent acquisition efforts through sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and assisting with onboarding processes Maintain and update HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data, including employee records and benefits administration Assist with employee orientation programs, training sessions, and performance evaluation processes Contribute to benefits administration by processing enrollments, changes, and inquiries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits Help manage employee relations by addressing inquiries, facilitating conflict resolution, and supporting engagement initiatives Support compliance efforts related to FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), workers' compensation, and affirmative action planning Assist in project management activities related to organizational design, succession planning, and change management initiatives Collect data for HR reporting purposes using tools such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or ADP platforms Participate in workforce management activities including scheduling, data collection, and labor law compliance Support HR sourcing strategies utilizing social media management tools and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) platforms like iCIMS or Lever Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Minimum of two years of administrative experience within human resources or related functions Proficiency with HRIS systems such as Workday, UltiPro, or PeopleSoft; familiarity with payroll platforms like Paychex or Kronos is advantageous Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently Knowledge of talent acquisition strategies including ATS utilization and social media sourcing techniques Ability to maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive information accurately through data entry and data collection tasks Familiarity with benefits administration software such as Paylocity or Taleo is desirable This position plays a vital role in supporting our organization's strategic human resources initiatives.
