Job Summary Join our dynamic security team as an Unarmed Security Officer, where your vigilance and dedication will ensure the safety and security of our facilities, staff, and visitors. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, managing access points, and maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and conflict management. Your commitment to safety will help foster a safe, welcoming atmosphere for everyone on-site. Responsibilities Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to oversee activity across the premises and identify potential issues promptly. Control access to the facility by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Conduct regular patrols of the property to detect suspicious activity or safety hazards. Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies with appropriate conflict management techniques and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping. Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting theft or vandalism attempts. Provide first aid or CPR when needed and be prepared to handle emergency situations confidently. Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV), conflict management strategies, and loss prevention techniques. Certifications in first aid, CPR, or law enforcement training are a plus. Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor. Strong observational skills with attention to detail in surveillance and patrol activities. Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members, visitors, and emergency responders. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively while enforcing safety protocols.
