  • Full-time HR Assistant Job Summary The HR Assistant supports the Human Resources Department by performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties that help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of HR functions.
This position plays an important role in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, recordkeeping, and compliance. As one of the first points of contact for employee questions and support, the HR Assistant helps create a positive, professional, and organized workplace experience for all team members. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, customer-service focused, and enjoys working with people. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while gaining valuable experience across multiple areas of Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Support onboarding and orientation of new hires by preparing paperwork and coordinating training schedules. Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and HR programs or direct them to the appropriate HR staff. Support compliance with labor laws, company policies, and employment regulations. Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events. Prepare HR-related reports as requested (e.g., turnover, attendance, headcount). Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous administrative or HR experience is a plus Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit at a desk for the majority of the shift.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule with occasional weekends for events and the possibility of overtime. Primarily office-based with occasional off-site support for events or training.
