Role Overview We are seeking a highly organized, people-focused, and proactive Senior Associate - People Operations & Culture to support our growing U.S. operations. This role blends responsibilities across HR operations, employee experience, onboarding, office operations, and culture programming. This individual will play a visible role within the organization, helping shape the day-to-day employee experience while ensuring operational excellence across people processes and workplace management. In addition to core HR and administrative responsibilities, this role will lead onboarding coordination, support internal communications, help drive engagement initiatives, and organize company-wide meetings, town halls, and employee events. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys balancing operational detail with people interaction, and is excited to contribute to a growing organization's culture and employee experience strategy. This position is based in our Chicago office with an in-office expectation of four days per week and one flexible remote day. Key Responsibilities People Operations & Employee Experience Lead onboarding coordination for new hires, including scheduling, orientation support, workspace readiness, and cross-functional onboarding logistics Serve as a key point of contact for employee experience initiatives, helping foster an engaging, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture Coordinate and lead internal employee engagement activities, office events, celebrations, and culture-building initiatives Organize and support company town halls, leadership meetings, all-hands sessions, and internal communications efforts Provide first-level HR support and respond to general employee inquiries Maintain HR documentation, employee records, and confidential files with a high degree of accuracy and discretion Support HR reporting, reconciliations, audits, and operational tracking activities Administer and maintain HR systems and employee databases, ensuring data integrity and timely updates Partner cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, IT, recruiting, and operations teams on employee-related initiatives and internal programming Assist in developing scalable people operations processes and improving employee experience workflows Office & Administrative Operations Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure an organized, welcoming, and efficient workplace environment Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for employees, visitors, and leadership as needed Manage office vendors, supplies, shipments, mail, and workplace-related coordination Partner with IT and operations teams on equipment procurement, onboarding setup, and office readiness Support meeting coordination, space planning, and onsite event logistics Assist with general administrative support including scheduling, document preparation, filing, and operational coordination What We're Looking For 3-5 years of experience across HR operations, people operations, employee experience, office management, or workplace operations Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, collaborative, and service-oriented approach Experience coordinating onboarding programs, employee engagement initiatives, events, or internal communications Comfortable working cross-functionally with employees and leaders across multiple teams High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information Experience with HR systems, reporting, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools Experience supporting high-growth or fast-paced environments preferred What Success Looks Like Employees have a seamless and welcoming onboarding experience Internal events, town halls, and engagement initiatives are well organized and positively received HR operations and employee records are maintained accurately and efficiently The office environment is collaborative, organized, and operationally effective Leaders and employees view this role as a trusted operational and culture partner Why Join Us Opportunity to help shape employee experience and culture within a growing global organization Exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional business operations High-impact role with visibility across HR, operations, and culture initiatives Collaborative and entrepreneurial work environment with strong growth potentialSimilar remote jobs
