THE ORGANIZATION
Marketstaff is a boutique Human Resource organization committed to providing outsourced concierge human resource services to the best in class organizations. Our clients span from international software companies, highly respected non-profit organizations, top plastic surgeons, medical offices, and early learning centers. For 25 years, we have operated as a strong consulting and outsourced Human Resource organization focused on advancing the employee experience for our client's employees.
THE ROLE
The Human Resource Coordinator consults directly with managers and employees by working collaboratively, and in a culturally sensitive and appropriate manner, to embrace our clients core values, mission, and vision, and support staff across their organization. We are looking for a passionate HR Coordinator as the go-to person for all employee-related issues. The job of HR Coordinator is important to business success. People are our most important asset and you'll be the one to ensure our clients and their employees have a happy and productive workplace. Promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture is a vital aspect of a complete HR Coordinator.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise employee onboarding experience, Day One Orientations, and conduct 30-, 60-, and 90-day check-ins with new employees. Participate collaboratively 'with the business unit management team, including the areas of recruitment and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Responsible for all HRIS administration. Assist employees with leave of absence requests, special enrollments, and questions about benefit plans. Play a lead role in building a positive workplace culture and high levels of employee engagement Manage HR inbox to ensure all employee correspondence is responded to promptly. Oversee health insurance plans for our client's providers. Manage projects to enhance the HR function creating efficiencies, effective practices and improving compliance with employment laws and regulations. Administer off-boarding procedures including conducting exit interviews. Work with an integrated HR team of specialists Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, and employment law. Perform other duties as assigned.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Hiring Specifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. One to three years of human resource experience. Knowledge of HRIS, payroll systems, office 365 including excel.
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent client and employee relations style required to provide a concierge service to our clients. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS systems, such as Paylocity and ADP. Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of relevant experience, be organized, detailed, with a professional and outgoing demeanor.
Compensation:
$20-30 Hourly, -non-exempt Bonus eligible
