Job Description

Human Resources Administrator (Growth Opportunity to HR Generalist) On-Site | Full-Time NRE is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resources Administrator to support day-to-day HR operations while developing into a broader HR Generalist role . This position is ideal for an HR professional who is ready to build on their experience and grow into a more strategic, well-rounded HR position. This role provides hands-on exposure across payroll, benefits, employee relations, and HR operations , with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility over time. Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Employee Records Maintain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date employee records, HR files, and organizational charts Manage both paper and electronic filing systems with a focus on accuracy and audit readiness Conduct regular audits of employee files and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements Track employee time off, including calculating vacation payouts at termination Maintain HRIS data integrity in ADP and generate reports to support business needs Payroll Administration Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll in Sage and ADP Partner with payroll and accounting to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance Support payroll reporting and audits Benefits & Leave Administration Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes across HRIS and benefit systems Reconcile benefit invoices and resolve discrepancies Administer FMLA and leave tracking, including employee communication and documentation Manage employment verifications and HR documentation requests Support annual open enrollment and benefits administration Employee Relations & HR Support Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and processes Escalate complex issues appropriately while building employee relations experience Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information Support a positive employee experience across multiple locations Growth Opportunity This role is designed to develop into an HR Generalist position. As experience and proficiency grow, responsibilities may expand to include: Recruiting Increased involvement in employee relations and investigations Policy development and HR process improvements Training and development initiatives Greater partnership with leadership on workforce planning and HR strategy Qualifications & Experience 2-4+ years of Human Resources experience required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred Experience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred) and payroll processing strongly preferred Foundational knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Positive, proactive attitude with a desire to grow into a broader HR role Strong interpersonal and communication skills Travel Up 5% travel may be required.
