Summary As a Loss Prevention Officer in Ft Wayne, you will be essential in safeguarding company assets and minimizing theft through effective surveillance and loss prevention strategies. Reporting to the Security Manager, you will utilize your core skills in CCTV and loss prevention, alongside premium skills in law enforcement and criminal investigation, to monitor activities and investigate incidents. Your relevant skills in report writing, conflict management, and security will enable you to document findings and collaborate with law enforcement when necessary. Conduct regular surveillance of designated areas to deter loss and ensure safety. Write detailed reports on incidents and investigations for record-keeping and legal purposes. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address criminal activities. Manage conflicts effectively, ensuring a secure environment for customers and staff. Maintain security protocols and assist in training new team members on loss prevention strategies.
