Position Overview:
We are looking for a HR / Admin to support our HR department with daily operations, hiring, and employee relations. This role is ideal for someone who is seeking a more independent position than an HR Assistant but may not yet have the experience of working as an HR Generalist. The HR / Admin will assist with recruiting, onboarding, record-keeping, clerical support of compliance, payroll, employee training, and employee communication to help ensure smooth HR processes. Position is paid hourly based on experience.
Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30
PM Key Responsibilities:
Processing weekly payroll for hourly employees. Responsible for recruitment efforts including posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting phone screens, and coordinating interviews during hiring cycles. Weekly billing support as needed (invoicing, update systems, etc.) Maintain employee records with accuracy and confidentiality, including tracking attendance. Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures while staying organized with multiple policy sets. Act as a liaison between operations management and employees to facilitate clear and respectful communication, including delivering sensitive information such as terminations with professionalism and empathy. Work with managers to advise and assist on personnel issues, supporting them through employee relations issues. Support employee onboarding and coordinate / conduct orientation processes. Support employee training efforts and present Company training, as needed. Provide support to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
Qualifications:
1-2 years experience working in an office environment. 1-2 years of experience demonstrating a basic knowledge of HR principles preferred (such as working as an HR Assistant). Strong organizational and attention to detail Comfortable working independently and able to self-manage workload Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Please submit resume as a PDF.
