Job Description

Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and positive Human Resources Assistant to provide support to the Human Resources department, ensuring efficient operations and an exceptional employee experience. This role involves assisting with various human resources processes, maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer service focused and possesses excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage HR calendars, schedule meetings, schedule travel, prepare correspondence, and create reports. Assists the Human Resources Department with filing, scanning, and other administrative tasks. Maintain accurate and confidential employee files, update HR databases, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations. Recruit for entry level positions and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process. Assist with employee benefits enrollment and answer inquiries about benefits. Support the planning and execution of employee events, recognition programs, and training sessions. Handle inquiries from employees regarding various policies and perform other administrative tasks as needed. Manage fleet/pool cars, including scheduling maintenance visits. Manage company residences, scheduling maintenance and cleaning services between visitors. Other Duties as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced office environment. Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential information with discretion. Ability to work as part of a team, but also a self-starter than can own a project.
