is seeking a reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Part-Time Human Resources Assistant to support daily Human Resources operations. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, communicates well, and is comfortable handling confidential information. A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required. Pay will be based on education, experience, and overall qualifications. The Human Resources Assistant will support employee and subcontractor records, onboarding documentation, compliance tracking, interviews, communication, scheduling, and general administrative tasks. The right candidate should be dependable, able to multitask, and comfortable working in a fast-paced human services environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with maintaining employee and subcontractor files. Support Human Resources with onboarding paperwork and required documentation. Conduct and assist with interviews for potential staff and subcontractors. Schedule interviews, trainings, meetings, and follow-up appointments. Track training records, certifications, background check updates, and compliance documents. Help prepare Human Resources letters, forms, notices, and internal communications. Communicate professionally with applicants, staff, subcontractors, and agency leadership. Help monitor missing or expired documentation and follow up as needed. Maintain confidentiality of personnel records and agency information. Support office organization, filing, scanning, copying, and data entry. Assist with reviewing documents for accuracy and completion. Provide general administrative support to Human Resources and agency leadership. Help ensure staff records meet agency and contract requirements. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to conduct professional interviews and communicate clearly with applicants. Ability to follow directions and complete tasks accurately. Comfortable using computers, email, online forms, and office software. Ability to multitask and prioritize work. Professional attitude and dependable attendance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn Human Resources processes and compliance requirements. Preferred Qualifications Degree or coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Services, or a related field preferred but not required. Previous Human Resources, administrative, interviewing, clerical, or office experience preferred. Experience working in a human services, healthcare, nonprofit, or compliance-based setting is a plus. Familiarity with maintaining personnel records, onboarding documents, training records, or interview documentation is helpful.
