Position Description:
The Employee Services Technician is responsible for working with employees, the Recruitment and Selection Team, the Payroll Department and any/all departments to ensure the maintenance of employee records and files.

Onboardsnewhires,assignsemployeenumbers,andprocessesstatisticalandpersonnelinformationonnew

Completes the on-boardingprocessforallnewhires,transfersand/or
Verifiesandupdatesallpreviousworkexperienceforemployees,including calculating experience
Processesresignationsandterminationsof
Assistswithmaintainingaccuratepersonnelrecordsand
Works with employees on pay-related
Processesnameandaddresschangesfor
Processesemployeetransfersandsalarychangesonall
Processesfederalandstatededuction
Processesany/allbudgetrelatedchangestoemployeesalaryinformation(i.e.-TitleI,TitleIII).
Computessalariesforall
Processeswrittenemploymentverificationsforloans,researchespersonnelfoldersforverificationofexperienceonformer

Processes Bereavement/Trauma Leave request on all
Processes fingerprinting for all candidates (teacher, para, substitute, coach, etc.).
Assists as backup for Human Resources reception desk.
Assists with scheduling/onboarding of substitutes, coaches, etc.
Verifies/audits social worker hours for Centerny.
Assists as backup for entering quick pays.
PerformsotherdutiesasassignedbytheDirectorofPersonnelServices, or by the Executive Director of Personnel Services and/or the Chief Human Resources Officer.

Physical Involvement:
Sitting is required most of each work day. Must be able to operate office equipment. Standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds is sometimes required. Must possess mobility skills necessary to access a variety of work areas.
