Job Description
We are a large, growing dermatology practice seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to support and execute our day-to-day HR operations. This is a newly created role with the opportunity to help build, standardize, and improve HR processes across the organization. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys both administrative execution and process improvement, and is confident navigating HR compliance for a multi-provider practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Lifecycle Management Coordinate and execute onboarding and orientation for new hires Manage offboarding processes, including exit documentation and compliance Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems Recruitment & Hiring Support Post job openings across platforms and manage applicant tracking Screen resumes and coordinate interviews with hiring managers Support hiring decisions and ensure a smooth candidate experience HR Operations & Administration Administer and track PTO and leave requests Assist employees with benefits-related questions and escalate as needed Ensure all compliance documentation is complete, accurate, and organized Maintain and update the employee handbook and office policies Compliance & Employee Relations Support compliance with employment laws applicable to organizations with 50+ employees, including FMLA and related regulations Perform employee evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations Maintain proper documentation for employee relations matters Credentialing & Process Development Coordinate credentialing for new providers Partner with leadership to develop, document, and improve HR processes, policies, and workflows Help establish scalable HR practices to support continued growth Contribute to project management efforts involving change management initiatives, affirmative action planning, succession planning, and workforce management strategies. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in HR Manager or generalist role Strong working knowledge of HR compliance, including FMLA and employment laws for mid-sized organizations Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations processes Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Experience in healthcare or medical practice preferredBenefits:
