Booking Officer

Avoyelles Parish Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for a booking officer. Job duties consists of the following: Other duties may be assigned .

Booking Procedures:

Gathers arrest and booking documentation, fingerprints, and mug shots . Processes incoming inmates and arrestee. Completes Inmates Status Screen, Phone Records, Bond Information and other booking information, obtains signatures, as required. 12 hour shifts. All applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Benefit options offered after training and probationary period. Salary will also be determined by experience. Applicants must fill out an application at the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff's Office at 675 Government St., Marksville, LA 71351, Mon-Fri from 8am to 4pm. Admin office will be closed on holidays.
