Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator/Office Assistant to join our team. This pivotal role combines administrative excellence with strategic HR support, ensuring smooth daily operations and fostering a positive workplace environment. The ideal candidate will be energized by multitasking, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a proactive approach to human resources management. You will play a key role in supporting talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and HRIS systems, all while maintaining compliance with employment laws and organizational policies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to organizational growth and employee success. Duties Manage human capital management processes, including onboarding, employee orientation, and ongoing talent development initiatives. Support talent acquisition efforts through sourcing candidates via ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) such as iCIMS, Workday, or Taleo, and assist with interviewing and hiring procedures. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation claims, and retirement plans like Paychex or ADP. Maintain accurate HR data entry within HRIS platforms such as Oracle
HCM, SAP
SuccessFactors, or PeopleSoft; ensure data collection is precise and up-to-date. Assist in performance management activities by coordinating employee evaluations, training & development programs, and succession planning efforts. Facilitate employee relations by addressing inquiries related to employment law (including FMLA), conflict management, OSHA compliance, and workplace policies. Support organizational design initiatives and change management projects to optimize workforce management strategies. Prepare contracts, employment agreements, and documentation aligned with labor law requirements; ensure compliance with affirmative action planning and other legal standards. Manage social media channels for employer branding efforts; promote company culture and employment opportunities effectively. Experience Proven experience in human resources management or administrative roles within a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with HR sourcing tools such as Taleo, iCIMS, or Lever; experience with ATS platforms like Workday or UltiPro is highly desirable. Knowledge of employment & labor law regulations includingFMLA, OSHA
standards, workers' compensation procedures, and affirmative action planning. Hands-on experience with HRIS systems such as OracleHCM, SAP
SuccessFactors or PeopleSoft; proficiency in data collection and reporting is essential. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction across all levels of the organization; adept at conflict management and employee engagement strategies. Administrative experience supporting payroll processing through platforms like Paychex or ADP; familiarity with benefits administration is a plus. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technology tools such as Workday, Dayforce, Kronos or Ceridian for workforce management purposes. Ø 1-2 years' experience in Human Resources, and 1 -2 years of hands-on experience in working with HRIS applications, processing, and administering employee data. Ø Experience in MAS 90/ Sage Software and PayChex is a plus. Ø Operational knowledge of payroll policies, regulations, and procedures Ø Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Ø Excellent oral and writing skills Ø Must have a good understanding of Math and be comfortable with performing basic Accounting.
