Job Description
Human Resources Assistant Holyoke Medical Center is seeking an enthusiastic individual with exceptional customer service skills to work in our fast-paced Human Resources Department. The successful candidate will be dependable, have strong organizational and telephone skills, an ability to multitask, and be able to interact professionally with both visitors and employees.
This individual will:
Provide receptionist duties at our front desk by courteously greeting employees and visitors to the office, and answering a busy, multi-line phone. Monitor, verify and update required employee credential renewals on a monthly basis and upload supporting documentation. Maintain and update confidential personnel records in HRIS, which includes scanning and uploading relevant documents Serve as a resource to employees by answering basic questions or forwarding them to the appropriate individual for handling. Respond to employment verification requests Assist with onboarding of new employees, and to serve as a back-up to the Onboarding Coordinator. Maintain the computerized ID system, make and distribute ID badges, and order supplies as required Maintain office supplies and order as needed Maintain an adequate supply of employee information in the HR informational carousel Provide clerical assistance to the department Generate various ad hoc reports Open, date stamp and distribute the daily mailREQUIREMENTS
High School graduate with emphasis on secretarial studies; minimum of two years of experience in a Human Resources office; proficiency with computers and with various software programs, including HRIS systems, GSuite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; exceptional customer service skills (i.e., patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm); ability to multitask in a fast-paced office setting; familiarity with employee benefits, onboarding and recruitment processes; strong communication skillsSimilar remote jobs
