This role focuses on execution, documentation accuracy, scheduling, and follow-through—ensuring that core people processes run smoothly while People Leaders retain full ownership of decisions and outcomes. This role reduces administrative burden on the leadership team, freeing them to focus on decisions and outcomes. The HR Coordinator brings a professional, approachable presence to the building and drives consistency, compliance, and operational rhythm across employee concern intake, safety administration, culture support, hiring coordination, and onboarding logistics. This is a developmental role with broad exposure to People & Culture functions and a clear path towards future People & Culture positions What you'll do Employee Concern Intake & HR Support Act as a first point of contact for employees who bring concerns directly to HR. Gather intake information in a neutral, professional manner to understand the nature of the concern. Route concerns to the People Operations Manager and appropriate leaders based on guidance and risk considerations. Provide administrative and logistical support related to employee relations matters, including documentation organization, scheduling, and follow-up coordination. May serve as a neutral witness or note-taker during meetings or interviews when appropriate. Safety Administration & Training Coordination Provide administrative follow-through for workplace incidents after managers complete required incident reports. Communicate upcoming safety training and certification requirements and track completion. Coordinate with internal or external trainers to schedule required safety training courses. Maintain accurate records for safety-related certifications, including forklift and hoisting certifications. Schedule safety meetings, prepare agendas, capture meeting minutes, and distribute recaps. Culture, Engagement & Employee Experience Support Support culture and engagement efforts that foster an inclusive, productive, and respectful Distribution Center environment. Coordinate and support building-wide recognition efforts, including tenure milestones, promotions, and career progression moments. Organize logistics for regularly scheduled culture and engagement activities aligned to operational priorities. Plan and coordinate team member events that reinforce connection, inclusion, and appreciation without disrupting operations. Communicate engagement initiatives across the building so recognition is timely and visible. Ensure engagement efforts reach all shifts and departments equitably. HR Operations & Administrative Support Maintain employee files (digital and physical) in accordance with company standards and record-keeping requirements. Prepare routine employment documentation as directed by HR leadership. Maintain trackers, logs, and reports related to hiring, onboarding, safety training, employee relations intake, and engagement activities. Provide structured administrative support aligned to people processes and seasonal Distribution Center needs. Recruiting & Hiring Coordination Coordinate interview logistics for Distribution Center roles, including candidate scheduling and materials for People Leaders. Maintain accurate hiring trackers reflecting candidate flow, interview status, offers extended, offers accepted or declined, and start dates. Coordinate pre-employment steps following hiring decisions, including background checks, offer documentation, and onboarding readiness. Ensure timely communication and follow-through after interviews based on direction from the hiring manager. Onboarding & Orientation Manage onboarding logistics end to end, ensuring required paperwork, documentation, and system access are completed accurately and on time. Schedule and conduct new-hire orientation sessions using established company materials and processes. Coordinate onboarding schedules with People Leaders, trainers, and operational teams. Maintain onboarding checklists, records, and completion tracking. What Success Looks Like Core people processes run smoothly through strong execution, documentation accuracy, scheduling, and follow-through. Administrative burden on the leadership team is reduced, allowing People Leaders to stay focused on decisions and outcomes. Employee concern intake, safety administration, culture support, hiring coordination, and onboarding logistics run with consistency, compliance, and operational rhythm. The HR Coordinator maintains a professional, approachable presence across the building while supporting an inclusive, productive, and respectful Distribution Center environment. Who you are Be a TPS brand ambassador 0-2 years of experience in HR, administrative, or operations support roles. Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple administrative processes simultaneously. Approachable and professional, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution center environment. Interested in building a career in Human Resources or People Operations. Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are strongly encouraged to apply. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn HR systems. Must be able to work on-site at the Distribution Center. Ability to lift uo to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and stand/walk up to 6 consecutive hours. Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and extended hours during seasonal peaks. Working Conditions Warehouse environment with variable temperatures. Exposure to noise, moving equipment, and physical labor.
