Job Description

Job Summary The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for assisting with onboarding administration, employee records management, benefits administration support, payroll-related employee changes, compliance tracking, and maintaining HR documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. Success in this role requires the ability to follow established processes, maintain accurate records, communicate effectively, exercise sound judgment, and work independently while knowing when to escalate issues to VP of Human Resources. Duties Coordinate with new hires onboarding and employee offboarding Maintain employee personnel files and HR records in ADP and other systems. Assist with benefits administration, enrollments, life events, and employee inquiries. Assist with employee changes including direct deposit updates, address changes, and other HR transactions. Support payroll administration by ensuring employee data changes are accurate and submitted timely. Maintain compliance-related documentation including I-9s and personnel records. Respond to routine employee questions and escalate complex matters appropriately. Assist with HR projects, audits, and administrative initiatives. Coordinate employee communications and follow-up on assigned tasks. Maintain HR trackers, checklists, and documentation. Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow written procedures and SOPs. Demonstrated ownership and follow-through. Proactive communication and timely updates. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Sound judgment regarding when to escalate issues. Willingness to learn and accept feedback. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
