Safety Clerk
The Safety Clerk will be responsible for inputting a high volume of data from multiple sources into databases for the purpose of storing accident, injury, and incident reports.

Responsibilities:
- Uses a variety of software programs and forms to accurately document all injury, accident, and incident reports
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities.
- Follow up with employees and other departments, as needed, to obtain incomplete or missing information.
- Compiles data and generates reports.
- Create employee files, scans documents for electronic storage, and files hard copy documents.
- Responds to queries for information and accesses relevant files.
- Covers the Receptionist position during periods of absence.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Licensing and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.
E.D.).
Experience Required:
- Two (2) years of clerical work in an office setting.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Accurate data entry keystrokes with adequate speed.
- Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Computer skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Ability to utilize other departmental and Company software programs.
- Must be able to multi-task, work effectively with interruptions, and meet or exceed production and quality goals.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information or issues.
- Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
- Travel requirement: Less than 5%.
Skills and Knowledge Preferred:
- Bilingual or multi-lingual skills.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Must successfully pass drug testing and background checks.

- Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
- The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
