$18.00 - $19.00 / Hourly Position Summary Lorien Health Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support both our Float Pool and Home Care Agency service lines. This role plays a critical part in administrative operations, compliance, onboarding, staffing coordination, and employee record management while ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations . The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, demonstrates professionalism when handling confidential information, and enjoys supporting teams that deliver exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Administrative & Staffing Support Complete post-discharge phone calls and prepare employee shout-out reports Assist with staffing operations and daily administrative needs Track and report late arrivals, call-outs, and attendance issues Generate and maintain employee pool reports, including PRN status, rosters, and compliance tracking Provide coverage for the on-call phone on a rotating schedule (evenings, weekends, and holidays) Onboarding, Orientation & Compliance Coordinate and complete float pool orientation and onboarding in collaboration with team members Audit home care agency and float pool employee records, including: Personnel files I-9 documentation Education and training requirements Annual skills and evaluations Physician affidavits and skills checklists Coordinate and track flu vaccinations and PPD screenings for both service lines Maintain and monitor employee driving records for home care staff Records & Office Management Maintain, organize, clean, and digitize office files Securely shred confidential documents in compliance with privacy standards Support general office organization and workflow efficiency Additional Duties Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned to support departmental goals Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Previous administrative or healthcare office experience (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism Effective communication and collaboration skills Work Expectations Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of an on-call rotation Commitment to Lorien Health Services' Code of Conduct , policies, and compliance standards Strong teamwork and collaboration across departments and service lines Why Join Lorien Health Services?
