Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position is critical to supporting both the HR department and general operations through effective data management and HR functions. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, expertise in data entry, and a strong understanding of human resources practices. In this role, you will manage HR activities related to talent acquisition, employee relations, and data integrity while ensuring all records are accurate and accessible.
Responsibilities:
Human Resources Functions:
Manage employee relations by providing guidance on policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting HR programs that promote employee engagement and retention. Maintain accurate records in HR systems, including Paychex Flex for timekeeping and payroll processing. Participate in strategic planning sessions to align HR practices with business objectives. Assist with onboarding new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience.
Data Entry Functions:
Accurately enter and manage data in databases and HR systems, ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Transcribe information from paper documents, audio recordings, or other sources into digital formats. Perform basic calculations as needed to verify data accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. Maintain organized records, both physical and electronic, to facilitate easy retrieval of information. Assist with clerical tasks, including filing, document management, and general administrative support. Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and effectively utilize office equipment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience in HR operations, or data entry roles, with familiarity in using systems like Paychex Flex and IDS. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple responsibilities. Proficiency in HR software such as Paychex Flex, IDS or similar platforms, along with experience in database management. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization. A proactive approach to problem-solving, a strategic mindset, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
