In this role, you will serve as a vital link between management and employees, supporting day-to-day HR and office operations while helping foster a positive, organized, and engaged workplace. From keeping our office running smoothly to helping us grow our team, your attention to detail and people-first approach will make a meaningful impact across the organization. In this role, you will also support full-cycle recruiting efforts, stepping in as needed when the recruiting function requires coverage. Responsibilities Process payroll, commission reports, and closing reports accurately and on time, ensuring employees and management have the data they need. Manage employee time-off requests, track balances, and maintain accurate records in coordination with managers. Oversee day-to-day office management, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace and ordering supplies as needed. Plan and coordinate employee engagement events that promote team morale and a positive workplace culture. Support company social media presence, including employer branding content and recruitment-related posts. Support and assist with full-cycle recruiting efforts, stepping in as needed when the recruiting function requires coverage. Manage the full onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, paperwork, system setup, and first-day readiness. Administer HR functions including benefits support, HRIS data maintenance, and employee record keeping. Support employee relations by serving as a reliable point of contact for questions and helping facilitate positive communication across teams. Ensure compliance with employment and labor law standards, including FMLA, OSHA, and applicable state regulations relevant to the mortgage industry. Experience Prior experience in a human resources, administrative, or office management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — you're approachable, discreet, and professional. Experience with recruiting, including sourcing and interviewing candidates, is a plus.
