We're looking for a Workforce Development & Volunteer Coordinator who is passionate about people and energized by helping others grow. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a relational environment, enjoys building systems that support others, and wants to make a tangible impact in their community every day. What You'll Do Lead Our Job Preparedness Program You'll work directly with individuals who are ready to take steps toward employment—helping them build confidence, develop workplace skills, and move toward meaningful opportunities. Facilitate job readiness training (communication, professionalism, job search skills) Coach and encourage participants as they grow and gain confidence Track progress and celebrate milestones along the way Build relationships with local employers and community partners Create a Meaningful Volunteer Experience Volunteers are at the heart of our work—you'll ensure they feel welcomed, equipped, and connected. Recruit, onboard, and train volunteers Match individuals to roles where they can thrive Build relationships that keep volunteers engaged long-term Communicate regularly and lead appreciation efforts Support Community Donation Drives You'll help community members turn generosity into action. Guide individuals and groups who want to host donation drives Provide tools and communication to ensure successful efforts Help track donations and thank partners for their impact Keep Things Running Smoothly Maintain accurate records and data across programs Help improve systems, processes, and participant experience Support storytelling and reporting that highlights impact Who You Are You're a people-first leader who builds trust easily You're organized and able to manage multiple priorities without losing the human touch You're a natural encourager and coach who sees potential in others You're comfortable taking initiative and improving systems You care deeply about dignity, equity, and community impact What You Bring Education Associate's degree or equivalent experience required Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, social work, human services, or related field preferred Experience 2+ years of experience in workforce development, volunteer management, or nonprofit programming Experience working with diverse populations and/or individuals facing barriers to employment preferred Skills & Abilities Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Ability to coach, motivate, and support individuals from diverse backgrounds Excellent organizational and time management skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems Experience with volunteer or program management software preferred Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Why Join In The Image? Schedule:
