Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator / HR Coordinator with Payroll experience to support day-to-day HR operations. This role is heavily focused on payroll processing, administrative functions, and supporting recruiting efforts. The ideal candidate is proactive, efficient in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrates a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities Payroll & HR Administration:
Process bi-weekly payroll using ADP (heavy training provided first week) Ensure all timecards are accurately reviewed and signed off Enter payroll batches (due Friday, no later than Monday at 9:00 AM) Process employee changes (status updates, pay adjustments, etc.) Manage boot reimbursements and other payroll-related entries Process monthly commissions Maintain accurate employee records and data integrity
Recruiting Support:
Assist with recruiting-related administrative tasks Coordinate interview scheduling with a 24-hour turnaround expectation Support high-volume, task-driven hiring activity
Tracking & Reporting:
Manage time tracking and attendance records Utilize Excel for tracking, reporting, and data management (including pivot tables and formulas)
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent 1-3 years of payroll and/or HR administrative experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas) and Outlook Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred:
Associate's degree in HR, Business, or related field Experience with ADP payroll systems Key Competencies High level of integrity and confidentiality Strong emotional intelligence and professionalism Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Proactive problem solver with strong critical thinking skills Ability to identify when to escalate issues appropriately Work Environment & Expectations Fully onsite role, Monday through Friday Fast-paced, task-heavy environment requiring strong time management Desire to convert to permanent hire based on performance, attendance, and cultural fit
