$55,000-$65,000 per year Position Summary The Human Resources Coordinator supports the daily operations of the HR department by being the first point of contact for general HR inquiries through the HR inbox, phone line and walk ins. The HR coordinator will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and compliance initiatives. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and helps ensure HR processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with company policies and that all employees receive timely and accurate responses to enhance the employee experience. Position Functions and Responsibilities Human Resources Front Desk Serve as HR first point of contact for walk ins, phone calls and email Assist employees with requests for pay stubs, W-2 forms, employment verifications (VOEs), and other employment-related documentation. Process employee status changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations. Ensure confidentiality and security of employee information. Employee Relations Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies and procedures Support HR team with employee engagement initiatives Escalate complex issues appropriately New Acquisitions Serve as the talent acquisition coordinator for new acquisitions Aid in the employee experience of new acquisitions through timely responses to employee inquiries Recruitment & Hiring Support Assist with posting job openings and maintaining applicant tracking system (ATS) Assist with candidate screening and background checks Onboarding & Offboarding Assist with offer letters and new hire paperwork Conduct background checks and employment verifications as needed. Coordinate onboarding schedules and orientation sessions Process terminations and manage exit documentation Employee Data & HR Systems Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data Update personnel files in compliance with legal requirements Generate HR reports and metrics as needed Support employees and managers with HRIS-related questions, troubleshooting, and system navigation. Benefits & Payroll Support Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate employee data Support open enrollment processes Compliance & Administration Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws Maintain I-9s and other compliance documentation Assist with audits and HR projects Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) 1-3 years of HR, administrative, or coordination experience Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG) preferred HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus Physical Demands The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
