We are a 132-bed non-profit skilled nursing facility governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our vision is to be a leader in the pursuit of healthcare excellence, the preferred choice for nursing & rehabilitative care, and a highly sought-out employer to healthcare professionals. We are NOT your typical nursing home! We put an emphasis on resident individuality, independence, and social well-being while providing our residents with care 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year. What are we looking for? We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join our team! In this role, you would be responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations. Your Role as
HR Assistant:
Recruitment and Hiring :
Assisting with the recruitment process, including screening applications, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
Compensation and Benefits :
Supporting the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including payroll and benefits enrollment.
Training and Development :
Assisting with the development and implementation of training programs for employees.
Employee Relations :
Addressing employee inquiries and concerns, mediating disputes, and ensuring a positive work environment.
Compliance :
Ensuring that HR practices comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Record Keeping :
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR files.
Qualifications:
Required:
High School diploma or equivalent, plus one year of office/clerical support experience.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in business, management, or human resources OR two years of human resources experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position is routinely exposed to common health care conditions, noises, chemicals etc. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and fax machines. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
