About the role Supports Human Resources Manager and performs a variety of administrative duties. What you'll do Perform administrative duties to include typing, filing, dictation, receiving and routing visitors, sorting, and distributing department mail, etc. and arrange details of meetings, participants, agendas, etc. Act as liaison between Human Resources Manager and functional area department managers. Establish, monitor, and maintain personnel folders to include but not limited to creating, re-establishing, auditing, and purging of files in accordance with Company and Department of Labor standards and instructions. Ensure benefit enrollments are completed and accurately processed within established timeframes. Input information into personnel system in a timely manner and ensure accuracy of all pay adjustments. Respond to employment verification requests as required. Answer employee questions related to benefits, personnel policies, and other human resources matters. Gather materials to copy and sort into training/workshops binders. Proofread written material for accuracy, check for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors. Produce quality work and complete assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner. Maintain appropriate personal attendance, accountability, and work productivity standards. Plan, prioritize, and organize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and new hire orientation activity. Maintain HR departmental reports such as attendance, annual evaluations, and as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or High School Equivalency. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Must have 2-3 years of Human Resources administrative experience. Minimum keyboarding skills - 55 wpm. Must possess computer skills and be proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software programs. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management. The pay range for this role is: 20 - 22 USD per hour(St. Louis JCC Main)
